Changing the blade set
Caution! Injuries to hands or fingers due to sharp-
edged blade set.
1. Switch the appliance off using the on/off switch (Fig. 2a).
2. Take the comb attachment off (Fig. 3b).
3. Carefully push the blade set at the front on the top blade
backwards with your thumbs in the direction of the arrow
(Fig. 7 - 1). Use a cloth or similar if necessary.

4. Take the blade set off (Fig. 7 - 2) and replace it.
5. Hook the new blade set into the housing (Fig. 7 - 7a), swing it up

and press it onto the housing until it you hear it click into position
(Fig. 7 - 7b).

Problem solving
Blade set is cutting badly or pulling hair out

Cause: Blade set is dirty or worn out.

f Clean and oil the blade set (Fig. 7). If this does not resolve the
problem, replace the blade set (Fig. 7).

f Reduce pressure when cutting close to skin.

Cause: Motor blockade
f Clean and oil the blade set (Fig. 7).
f Clean the housing opening (Fig. 7).

unauthorised repairs, modifications or wrong
accessories.
