3. Check that the battery is seated securely.
5.3 Removing the battery
1. Press the battery release button.
2. Remove the battery from the product.
5.4 Adjusting the stroke
5.4.1 Shorten stroke 3
WARNING
Risk of injury! Unintentional starting.
▶ Remove the battery before inserting the crimping jaws.
The pressing tool's stroke can be shortened or extended to suit the size of the pressing jaws used.
1. Rotate the pressing head so that the release button is easily accessible.
2. Install the pressing/adapter jaw.
3. Insert the battery.
4. Press and hold down the control switch until the rolling actuator has almost reached the pressing /
adapter jaw.
5. Press and hold down the release button on the tubular guard.
6. Push the tubular guard toward the pressing / adapter jaw.
7. Release the control switch.
▶ The piston retracts only as far as the selected position.
5.4.2 Extend stroke 4

▶ Remove the battery before inserting the crimping jaws.
The crimping tool's stroke can be shortened or extended to suit the size of the crimping jaws used.
1. Rotate the crimping head so that the release button is easily accessible.
2. Insert the battery.
3. Press and hold down the release button on the tubular guard.
4. Push the tubular guard toward the rear into the desired position.
5. Release the release button.
▶ The piston retracts only as far as the selected position.
