To lower the pH from 8.2 to 7.2 using an Astralpool Halo Doser, follow these steps:
1. Set Acid Dosing: Use the Halo ChlorGo App or the Halo Chlorinator touchscreen to adjust the "Acid Level" slider on the "Settings" page. Start with level 5 and monitor the pH.
2. Manual Adjustment: If a large adjustment is needed, you may choose to manually dose acid and then switch to auto mode later. Adding more acid will lower the pH.
3. Monitor pH: Regularly test the pH using test strips or a pH probe to ensure it reaches 7.2.
4. Maintain ORP: Ensure the ORP remains at 510 by verifying the Halo Chlorinator settings and monitoring chlorine levels, as the Halo Doser works in conjunction with it.
Make small adjustments and allow time for the system to stabilize after each change.
