SECTION E MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES AND SCHEDULE

Before doing any service or maintenance work on the engine, take the time to review your
Engine Operation Manual. It provides additional technical information you will need to
correctly service and maintain the elevator engine.
CAUTION: Do not over grease bearings. Over greasing can damage seals and actually
cause an increase in internal friction.
The engine requires a one time maintenance between 50 – 150 hours:
1. Check for engine leaks.
2. Change oil and oil filter.
3. Change fuel filter.
4. Re-tighten engine mounts.
