Preface The Trust Communicator ISDN 128 Internal is a PC expansion card containing a passive ISDN adapter. It can be set up by the user. No special skills are required to use common applications like Internet access and access to CompuServe.

Note The installation of a new modem in Windows 95 may vary across different versions and languages of this operating system. Read the manual of your Windows version if you encounter problems during installation.
5.3 Changing your Modem Settings Modems are operated by using AT commands. You can configure each Trust.VCOM modem to use some basic settings. To do so, follow these steps: 1. Click ‘Start’, point to ‘Settings’, select ‘Control Panel’. 2. Double-click ‘Modems’.
Be sure the selected protocol is identical to your counterpart's protocol. Note Trust.VCOM saves the most recent settings. However, these settings may sometimes be disabled when your COM port application automatically initialises on start up. 5.4 Trust.ISDN WAN-NDIS Miniport Trust.ISDN WAN-NDIS Miniport is an interface that lets you use Windows 95 Dial-Up Networking and Microsoft ISDN Accelerator Pack (IAP).

5. Type a name for the connection, e.g. the name of the computer you are dialling. 6. From the modems list, select ‘Trust Miniport - 1B channel’ as the type of dial-up adapter. 7. Click ‘Next’. A new dialogue box will appear.

9. Click ‘Finish’ to add the new set-up to your ‘Dial-up Networking’ folder. This setting will be your default connection to access the Internet. The ‘Internet Properties’ windows is still displayed on the screen. 10. Click the ‘Properties’ button in the ‘Internet Properties’ window (Figure 5).

6.1 Testing the hardware This test is intended to check that your board's components are operational. Test as follows: 1. Point to the ‘Trust ISDN Monitor’ icon on the Windows 95 task bar, while clicking the right mouse button. 2. Select ‘Properties’.

Start Windows 95, the card should install now. d. Cause: There is no free interrupt line in your computer. The Trust Communicator ISDN 128 Internal cannot share the interrupt with other devices. Windows will assign a shared interrupt to the Trust Communicator ISDN 128 Internal if no free one is available.
