To restore your data after resetting, you'll need to enter
security information. This shows that you or someone you
trust did the reset and helps prevent others from using your
phone without permission.
Reset phone from Settings
To erase all data and reset your phone:
● Go to Settings > System > Backup.
If you're resetting because you suspect a third-party app is
causing problems, turn off Backup to Google Drive. Instead
of automatically restoring apps after the reset, you'll want
to restore them one at a time to determine which is causing
the problem.
● Tap then touch Advanced > Reset options > Erase all
data (factory reset).
Reset Wi-Fi, mobile data and Bluetooth
If you're having problems with connections, review this
information first:
● Wi-Fi
● Bluetooth
● Mobile data
● Hotspot (internet sharing)
Then, if you're still experiencing problems, try resetting all
network settings:
● Go to Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options.
● Tap Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth > RESET
SETTINGS.
● If you're using dual SIMs, select the SIM to reset for
mobile data settings.
● Tap RESET SETTINGS.
● Try to reconnect to Wi-Fi, mobile data and Bluetooth, or
try to share your internet connection again.
