Open and switch browser tabs
In the Chrome app :
● To switch tabs, tap the switcher icon
● To open a new tab, tap the switcher icon
Browse privately with incognito tabs
If you don't want Chrome to remember your activity, use
incognito tabs.
To open a new incognito tab with one touch from your Home
screen, add a task shortcut:
● Tap and hold .
● Drag to a blank space on your Home screen.
To close all incognito tabs:
● Swipe the status bar down.
● Tap .
Clear browsing history
● Open the Chrome app .
● Tap > History.
● Tap CLEAR BROWSING DATA.
Change default browser
You can download other browsers from the Google Play Store.
After you've installed one, you can make it your default browser.
● Go to Settings > Apps & notifications.
● Tap Default apps > Browser app.
● Or tap Advanced > Default apps > Browser app.
● Tap the app to use.
