    Fitting recommendations (cont’d) The hob must be built into the worktop of a support cupboard. This worktop must be at least 3 cm thick and heat-resistant or else coated with a heat resistant material. Please check that there is provision for ventilation at the cabinet to ensure proper operation of the gas hob.
