Start and Shutdown procedures for Via 400

Thank you for purchasing the new Via 400 by AlterG. To improve your user experience, we

have detailed a general start and shutdown procedure for the Via 400 each day. We

understand small bugs and hiccups may arise from time to time, however, these

procedures ensure you have a great user experience!

Start of the Day

Before powering on the Via 400, ensure the cockpit is

locked and at the highest position. The software

performs and weight calibration on each startup and

we want to minimize weight detected to reduce

pressure errors.

Press the On/Off switch located on the front cover and

turn On the Via 400.

The Via 400 app, aka

Buffalo, will auto start

within 30 seconds.

Page 2 End of the Day Turning off the Via 400 each day will ensure the system resets the software and firmware to optimum efficiency. Press the PC shutoff button located on the cockpit, next to the Emergency Stop Magnet. A windows screen will appear and will take approximately 30 to 60 seconds to power down, more if there are any windows updates. Once the PC shuts off, press the On/Off switch on the front cover to the OFF position.
