Overview
Follow these instructions to install your SMART Hub PE260 with four SMART Board 680i2 interactive
whiteboard systems.
WARNING
• This document is intended for installers who are responsible for installing and configuring
the SMART Hub with four SMART Board interactive whiteboard systems. You require advanced
knowledge of system installation and cabling to complete the procedures in this document.
• You need the help of another person to complete the following procedures because your
SMART Board interactive whiteboard systems and frame(s) may be too heavy for you to safely
maneuver by yourself.

Details
Before You Begin
Before you install your SMART Hub PE260 with four SMART Board 680i2 interactive whiteboard systems,
consider whether:
Your installation wall is at least 8' 6" (2.6 m) high, which is high enough to accommodate safe head space
clearance, while maintaining enough space for airflow and installation access above the unit.
IMPORTANT
• Consult your local building codes and national regulations before you install your SMART Board
interactive whiteboard systems.
• Section 4.4.2 of the Americans with Disabilities Act
and Facilities
If you install your systems in a circulation space, you might need an installation wall that
is higher than 8' 6" (2.6 m) to meet this requirement.
Installing Your SMART Hub PE260 with Four SMART Board 680i2 Interactive Whiteboard Systems
requires circulation spaces to have a minimum vertical clearance of 80" (2.03 m).
