Protection In The Transportation; Leveling The Scale; Turn On Scale - RIBA R-55 Manual

Caution!:
Please handel your balance with care.
Take notice of the following recommendations.
* Liquids (like water) which come in contact with the balance can harm the accuracy.
* Overload of the balance can harm the accuracy of the balance.
* Extreme temperature changes can harm the accuracy of the balance.
* A clash with a heavy machine can make the balance useless.
* Changes in the balance may only be done by your supplier.
* We recommend you to let the balance check by your supplier every year.
* Only trained employees are allowed to use the balance.
* If you warm up the balance for 15 minutes before using, the accuracy of the balance will be better.
* Only use the balance if it is locked rightly and has a serial number.
The balance can be sealed with a stamp or a sticker. Do not remove them from the balance.
* Always use the parts of your supplier.

Protection in the Transportation

When the scale is initial use, please refer to the following drawing to take off the protection screw.
When the transportation will be made, please install the protection screw
on the machine to avoid any damage of sensitive components.

Leveling the Scale

The scale is equipped with a level indicator on the left bottom side of the front panel and four adjustable
leveling feet. Adjust the leveling feet until
the bubble appears in the center circle of the indicator.

Turn on Scale

Do not turn on scale with anything on the platform. The scale will start to count down from nine to zero
and then ready for use.
Give a warm-up for 15~30 minutes before use.
