The fuel valve controls the fuel flowing from the fuel tank to the carburetor. Be sure to return the lever to “OFF” after stopping the engine. Overloading this generator will significantly shorten the generator service life. • If the combustion chamber was coated with oil during storage, the engine might smoke briefly at startup. This is normal and should clear up within a few seconds.
