A DJU ST ING THE SA DDLE
After getting on the bicycle, touch the ground with two feet to find the
correct saddle height; then, tighten the lever on the seat tube and lock
it carefully.
To check if the saddle height is correct:
• sit on the saddle;
• place your heel on one of the pedals;
• rotate the crank until the pedal you are resting on the heel is in the
lowest position.
If your leg is not fully stretched, it means height saddle must be adjusted.
If the hips must swing in order to reach the pedal, it means that the sad-
dle is too high.
If the leg is bent at the height of the knee when the heel is resting on the
pedal, it means that the saddle is too low.
Minimum saddle height from the ground: 65 cm.
To adjust the handlebar, use the handlebar opening lever.
Use the brakes sensibly, especially on rainy days or snow, or in
poor grip conditions
Reduce your speed in poor grip conditions and when you are
going down steep slopes;
When braking, it is advisable to use the rear brake first and then
the front one
Regularly check the wear of the brake system and replace them
when they are worn out
