Application:
Prefilter for membrane dryers
Prefilter for pressure-swing desiccant dryers
Point-of-use filter (may be used if light liquid
load is present)
Operation:
Air enters inside of the PF cartridge and flows
radially inward through 6 layers of glass fiber
media. In the first stage filter section the larger
solid particles are trapped. In the second
stage filter section aerosols and solid particles
are trapped. The filter media is a bed of
submicronic glass fibers and works with the
principle of coalescing and in-depth filtration.
The outer foam sleeve compensates air
cycling
and
aerosol
concentrations
maintains uniform distribution. The outer foam
sleeve collects the coalesced oil droplets
which then, due to gravity, travel downstream
to the bottom of the sleeve and drain to the
bottomof the filter bowl.

Operation:
Air enters inside of the cartridge CF and flows
outward through 2 layers of oil capturing glass
fiber media following 3 layers of finely divided
activated carbon where 99% of oil vapour is
removed. Then through a second layer of
glass fiber media where the remaining oil
vapour is adsorbed and any particle larger

Funktionsweise:
Luft tritt in das Innere der Patrone PF ein und
strömt radial nach innen durch 6 Schichten von
Glasfasermedien. In der Filtersektion der

zweiten Stufe des Filterabschnitts werden
Aerosole und Feststoffpartikel zurückgehalten.
