l Using the hp3a light
The unit has been designed for continuous operation. Using the light comes down to the three steps:
1. Set it into the camera slot using photo shoe adapter. 2. Connect it to power supply by the appropriate power cables, or attach a
suitable, fully charged battery into the socket of the DVB-02 adapter (optional). 3. Switch it on using the power and colour
temperature switcher and check the brightness adjustment knob located on the rear panel.
The rear heat sink is used to remove a heat evolved in the LEDs. In the case of long-term continuous operation a free flow of air
through the cooling fins should be ensure to prevent overheating of the light. The overheating may results in a reduction of output.
In extreme cases the overheating drives to the permanent damage of the unit.
Using the light in ambient temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, or under conditions which prevent a free flow of air
through the cooling fins can cause damage of the lamp and loss of the warranty!
WARNING! Do not touch the heat sink after a long working at full power. It can reach temperatures exceeding 60 degrees
Celsius.
The surface of the housing of hp3a light is protected from moisture. However, when it is used in the rain, you must protect it from
influencing of water under the cover of the housing.
It is unacceptable to dip the light in the water!
