l Using of the mix3a light
The unit has been designed for continuous operation. Using the light comes down to the three steps:
1. Set it into the camera slot using 10mm-photo shoe adapter or 10mm-1/4 thread camera adapter (sold separately).
2. Connect it to power supply by appropriate power cable, or attach a suitable, fully charged battery into the socket of the DVB-02
adapter (optional).
3. Switch it on using the power and colour temperature switcher and check the brightness adjustment knob located on the rear
panel.
The "MIX"mode is enabled by the mixer control knob from "OFF" position. Working in "MIX" mode is indicated by the red LED and
consists in the mixing of daylight and tungsten light. The result is an increasing the temperature of artificial light or lowering the
temperature of daylight. The mixing ratio is smoothly adjusted by the mixer knob. When it is set on the "MAX", the both sets of
LEDs (daylight and tungsten) are emitting the same power. In the "MIX" mode, the dimming is performed with the colour
temperature set by the mixer control knob. The "MIX" mode is used for creative lighting with custom colour temperature.
Accidental use of light in the "MIX" mode may cause adverse consequences - incorrect colour reproduction of
registered objects! Check the "MIX" mode before switching on the camera!
