connectors, see Figure 5. There is also a 3 pin
Molex connector (J1) Figure 5 used to supply
power from the internal transformer or external
16 – 18VAC source.
WARNING
When the circuit board is powered with external DC
the transformer must be disconnected from (J1)
transformer connector.

SENSOR REPLACEMENT

Sensor failure will be indicated by increasing
failure frequency of user response test. The
following procedure should be observed in
replacing the sensor.
To access the PanBlast
Monitor Sensor, loosen the screw #8, Figure 3
and open the faceplate. When the enclosure is
open follow the directions listed below:
1) Carefully remove the 2 screws from the
sensor block and lift the block off the
sensor, Figure 5.
2) Remove the senor, which is plugged into
the circuit board.
3) Orient and install the new sensor on
circuit board. Align the tab on the sensor
Figure 7 with the tab indication on the
circuit board Figure 5, page 8.
4) Reinstall the sensor block retaining screws
taking care not to over tighten.

A new sensor should be operated for several
hours prior to initial calibration. Calibration
of a new sensor should be completed as
outlined on page 6 of this manual.
