    insert your iPod/iPhone 1. Switch the On/Off button at the rear of the unit to the ON position. 2. Insert the Universal iPod dock adapter (not included) into the iPod dock until it sits firmly in place. 3. Carefully insert your iPod / iPhone into the iPod / iPhone dock. When the iPod / iPhone is connected, it will automatically start charging the iPod / iPhone battery until it is fully charged.
