• The container is designed for use with this appliance. It cannot be
used on a range top.
• Never leave the empty carafe on the warming plate otherwise the
carafe is liable to crack.
• Do not set a hot container on a wet or cold surface.
• Do not let the coffee maker operate without water.
• Scalding may occur if the cover is removed during the brewing
cycles.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• WARNING: Ensure that the appliance is switched off and
disconnected from the power supply before performing any
maintenance operation; never use steam cleaning equipment or spray
detergents on the appliance - risk of electric shock.
• Wipe the base, control knob, and feet with a damp cloth. All
removable parts can be washed in hot, sudsy water. After washing
rinse, dry immediately and thoroughly.
• Do not clean the appliance with flammable or explosive liquids. Do
not use any harsh solvents, alkaline cleaning agents, abrasive
cleansers or scouring agents of any kind when cleaning. Do not
immerse the appliance in water for cleaning.
• Clean the appliance after each use and not allow any stagnant
liquids in the bowls
