Warranty and Claim Information
Who to contact if you have a Warranty Claim
All claims made under this warranty shall be
directed to the:
COMPRESSED AIR TREATMENT DIVISION
at (303) 783-2322
To initiate a possible warranty claim.
1.
Contact the Compressed Air Treatment Division at
303 783-2322 and provide the following information:
a.
Customer name, contact name, phone number,
addresses.
b.
Dryer serial number and model number.
c.
Description of problem or complaint with as
much detail as possible.
5.
Gardner Denver dryer service will ask for a purchase
order at this time. The P.O. will be used in the event
that parts or labor are non-warranty. If a warranty
situation is deemed to exist, the distributor will not be
billed for the call. Gardner Denver service issues a
warranty number known as an authorization to return
(number) to the distributor at this time.
6.
Gardner Denver service will contact the customer to
determine the nature of the problem and attempt to
solve it over the phone. If the problem cannot be
resolved over the phone, arrangements will be made
for an outside service source to look at the dryer and
determine a course of action for repairs. The
contractor will be given the ATR number as a
reference for the job.
NOTE: MANY REPAIRS ON A REFRIGERATED AIR DRYER
CAN BE DONE BY A TECHNICIAN WITH NO EPA
REFRIGERANT HANDLING CERTIFICATION. THIS WOULD
INCLUDE CONDENSER CLEANING, HOT GAS VALVE
ADJUSTMENTS, DRAIN VALVE AND FAN MOTOR
REPLACEMENT.
CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED WHEN THE REFRIGERANT
SIDE OF THE SYSTEM NEEDS WORK OR REFRIGERANT
IS PURCHASED AT A WHOLESALER.
7. The service contractor will be allowed 2 hours
for an initial inspection of the dryer. If, at this time,
the cause of failure is determined to be non warranty,
(see what is covered and what is not covered) the
distributor will be billed for the inspection. The distributor
can then recover his costs from the end user. If the
failure is within warranty, the service contractor will be
asked to provide an estimate for the cost of the repairs.
Once a price is established, the contractor will be given
permission to proceed.
