    Stacking Two CO28IR incubators may be stacked using the optional NBS stacking kit (PN M1271-9990). See the procedure outlined in Figure 1. These units are heavy, so care should be taken to use appropriate lifting devices that are sufficiently rated for these loads.

    The Door Temperature controller (see Figure 4) is located on the outer door liner in the upper left corner. This control will maintain door temperature between 1º and 1.5ºC above the incubator chamber temperature to prevent condensation from forming on the glass door.     HEPA CO Filter The CO28IR CO incubator design featurs a HEPA filtration system with a patented copper housing. As the chamber air is drawn through the filter system (see Figure 5), airborne microbes and isolated particulates are not only removed from the air, these contaminants are also destroyed through copper oxidation.
