See “Stacking your washer and dryer (optional)” on page 25 for stacking instructions. Leave at least two inches between your appliances’ sides and any surrounding walls.

You need to connect the power cord before you move your dryer into its final position.

Insert the tab on the terminal block cover into your dryer's rear panel slot, then secure the cover with a screw. WARNING: We recommend ring-type terminals. If using strap terminals, make sure that they are tightened.

Tighten the strain relief screws. Insert the tab on the terminal block cover into your dryer's rear panel slot, then secure the cover with a screw.

Front Load Electric Dryer Step 4: Installing the drain hose (optional) You can set up your dryer to automatically drain water with the included drain hose. If you don’t want to connect the drain hose, water will collect in the water reservoir and you’ll need to empty it after each use.

Note: When you put the hose in the washing basin or floor drain. make sure that the hose is not bent because it can slow the drainage.     Before you begin, make sure that you have the correct washer model and a drill. WARNING: • This stacking kit only works with the Insignia brand washer (NS-FWM27W1) and dryer (NS-FDRE44W1/NS-FDRE44W1-C). • Installation must be performed by a qualified installer.

Front Load Electric Dryer Using the two connecting brackets as guides, use a 3 mm drill bit to drill holes into the washer to connect the brackets (two holes per bracket). Use the left bracket on the left side and the right bracket on the right side.

    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Mount the connecting brackets to the back of the washer. Note: Hand tighten the self-drilling screws. Don't use an electric screwdriver, and don't over-tighten the screws. Turn the dryer feet clockwise to tighten them until the four metal support brackets come in contact with the top of the washer and your dryer is stable in position.

Unlock three locking levers that hold the filter in place. Pull the handle to remove the base filter.
