1. Plug the Home Network Hard Drive into an
uninterruptible power supply (UPS) or power outlet.
2. Using the included cable, connect the device drive to
your network router.
3. Power up the drive. Wait until the activity light turns
blue before proceeding.
4. Insert the Solutions CD. If the CD menu does not
launch automatically, launch the Start program on
the Solutions CD.
5. Click on Automatic Install and then follow the
onscreen instructions to install the software.
6. Launch Iomega Discovery Tool Home by double
clicking its icon on the Desktop. Click the Search for
Remote Devices button to search your network for the
Iomega Home Network Hard Drive.
7. When the device list has finished loading, click
on your drive to enter the Administration Tool and
configure your drive.
