To bake potatoes in an Instant Vortex:
1. Prepare the Potatoes - Prick each potato with a fork in three or four places. - Rub the potatoes generously with oil (olive or avocado oil). - Sprinkle sea salt and any other desired seasonings (such as garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper).
2. Preheat the Instant Vortex - Set the Instant Vortex to bake at 400°F or air fry at 400°F.
3. Cook the Potatoes - Place the potatoes on a tray without crowding. - Bake or air fry at 400°F for about 40 minutes or until a fork easily goes in and out of the potatoes.
4. Serve - Add your choice of toppings and enjoy.
Note: Cooking time may vary based on potato size. Pricking the potatoes is optional but recommended.

Reset Smart Programs to original settings Reset individual Smart Programs With the cooker in Standby mode, press and hold one of the Smart Program buttons you would like to reset until the cooker returns to Standby. The Smart Program’s cooking time and temperature are restored to the factory default setting.
Placement Place your Vortex on a stable, level surface, away from combustible material and external heat sources. Do not place your Vortex on top of another appliance. Make sure to leave at least 5 inches (13 cm) of space above and around all sides of the appliance to allow for sufficient air flow.

Test run Before using your new Instant Vortex for the first time, you must perform a test run to ensure everything is working correctly. To perform a test run: Ensure the Vortex is plugged into an electrical outlet. Insert the cooking basket, but do not add food.
COOKING The Vortex uses rapid air circulation to crisp or cook food, giving your meals all the rich, crispy flavor of deep frying, with little to no oil. HOT SURFACES The air fryer chamber will be hot during and after cooking.
