ATTACHING THE EMBROIDERY FOOT First, you must attach the embroidery foot to your sewing machine. CAUTION: To prevent accidents. Turn off the power switch of sewing machine before you change the presser foot. 1. Turn off the power switch of your sewing machine.
ATTACHING THE BRIDGE By the type of sewing machine, to attach 45 mm 48 mm the embroidery unit more stable, attach the bridge to the unit. This unit has 2 types of bridges. Remove the 36060 36061 extension table of your sewing machine and check the free arm shape.
ATTACHING THE EMBROIDERY UNIT CAUTION: To prevent accidents. 1. Turn off the power switch of sewing machine before you attach the embroidery unit to the sewing machine. 2. Do not carry the sewing machine when embroidery unit is attached. It may fall off.

8. Turn on the power switch of sewing machine. The LCD screen of embroidery unit will indicate start up screen a few seconds and change as fig. 10. NOTE: If other message as fig. 9 is indicated, it means error occurred. Turn off the power switch and check connections between machine and unit.

When you touch the “ ” button at step 10, LCD screen will display as fig. 11 or fig. • When fig. 11 is appeared, this sewing machine is provided with dial tension system. Turn the thread tension regulator to “-” direction slightly.
ADJUSTING THE TILT OF CONTROL BOX Tilt the control box by pulling the bottom side of box. To store, push there. CAUTION: Do not move the control box strongly. Otherwise, it may be broken.

SETTINGS OF THE UNIT (Home screen) 1. When you have attached the embroidery unit correctly, the home screen will appear on the LCD screen. A. Editing Indicator You can enter 3 patterns or letters at same time. When you turn on this unit, empty 3 folders are indicated and underline is appeared at the first folder.

ATTACHING THE EMBROIDERY FRAME PREPARING THE FABRIC, THREAD AND NEEDLE Consult your nearest local dealer to get best result. FABRIC For good result, use stabilizer for embroidery. (Stabilizer is sold on the market) THREAD Upper Thread: Use spool type embroidery thread. #50 - #60. Lower Thread: Use #90 polyester spun thread.
ATTACHING THE FABRIC 1. Loosen the adjustment screw (a) from outer frame (b) and remove the inner frame (c). “I” 2. Put the outer frame on flat table. 3. Put the fabric on the outer frame. 4. Aligning the “I” mark on both frames, push and insert the inner frame into the fabric from upper side so that the both frames should be even height.
ATTACHING THE EMBROIDERY FRAME 1. Before you attach the frame to the unit, wind and set the bobbin thread to the sewing machine. (See the instruction manual of your sewing machine.) “I” 2. Raise the needle. 3. Raise the presser foot. 4.
SELECTING EMBROIDERY PATTERN This embroidery unit has 150 embroidery patterns. (See page 23 “PATTERN CHART”) To select a pattern, follow as below steps. 1. When you attached the embroidery unit correctly, the LCD screen will display the home screen. 2. Touch embroidery pattern selection button (A). 3.

8. LCD screen will indicate the stop position setting screen. You can set the frame stop position at the thread changing. Touch the button you want to stop position. Button will be highlighted. 9. Touch the “ ” button. 10.Edit screen will appear. You can change the setting of the selected pattern.
SETTING THE EMBROIDERY PATTERN When you have selected a desired pattern, LCD screen will display the edit screen. You can change various settings on this screen. A. Frame size Selected frame size is indicated. You can change the frame size by touching the “...
F. Magnify button By touching this button, you can see the embroidery image closed up. Touch the “ ” or “ ” button to change view point. Viewing point is indicated by black square (f1). By touching the “ ” button, you can return to the edit screen.
J. Mirror/position/trace button By touching this button, mirror/position/ trace screen will be appear. At this screen, you can move the pattern position by touching the 4 arrow buttons. (j1-4) According to these buttons, frame will move each direction. By touching these buttons long time, position will move larger.
WHEN YOU HAVE COMPLETED SETTINGS If you want to enter more pattern Touch the “ ” button. Home screen will appear. Select a pattern. If you want to enter letters Touch the “ ” button. Home screen will appear. Select letters referring to page 31, 32. At the home screen, black icon (A) will indicate in the first folder.

SELECTING EMBROIDERY LETTERS This embroidery unit can sew English letters. (See page 30 “PATTERN CHART (LETTERS)”.) To select letters, follow below procedures. 1. Open the home screen. If other pattern or letters has been entered, folder (1a) is filled and next folder is underlined.

7. To delete the letter, touch the “ ” button. Last selected letter will be deleted. By touching long time, all selected letters will be deleted. 8. When you have completed selecting letters, touch the “ ” button. LCD screen will change to the save and color change screen.

E. SAVING SELECTED LETTERS You can save selected letters until 2 sets. They are remained after you turn off the power. 1. Select letters. 2. At save and color change screen, touch the “ ” button. Save/read screen will appear. 3.
G. DELETING SAVED LETTERS 1. At save/read screen, select the file button you want to delete. Selected file will be highlighted. 2. Touch the “ ” button. Confirmation screen will appear. 3a. Touch the “ ” button, if you want to delete them.
SETTING LETTERS When you have touched “ ” button at save and color change screen, LCD screen will change to frame selection screen. See page 17 and 18, to set frame size and position. After selecting the frame, LCD screen will display the edit screen.
B. Rotate button (Arc setting) 1. Touch the “ ” button. The rotation and arc screen will appear. 2. Rotating letters is same as rotating pattern. 3. You can line up the letters on arc line. Touch the “ ” button. The arc selection screen will appear.
C. Mirror/position/trace button By touching this button, mirror/position/ trace screen will appear. Setting the mirror, position and tracing sewing area function are same as pattern setting. You can also adjust spacing between letters and check start position. Spacing between letters 1.

START SEWING THE EMBROIDERY Thread the upper thread to the first color. Color and sequence of each pattern are indicated on the pattern chart. (Thread correctly referring the instruction manual of your sewing machine.) CAUTION: To avoid injury; Special care is needed for the needle when changing the upper thread.

CONNECT LETTERS If the letters are too long to sew at once, you can connect letters as follows. 1. Select first few letters and sew. 2. Remove the embroidery frame. 3. Reset the fabric so that the end point of letter is coming to first point of next letters.

SAVING EMBROIDERY DATA TO THE USB FLASH MEMORY This unit can save the combination and settings of patterns and letters to the USB flash memory as one embroidery data. This data is saved as “.hlo” format. 1. Insert the USB flash memory into the USB connector port.
READING EMBROIDERY DATA FROM USB FLASH MEMORY This unit can read saved data (.hlo) and other embroidery data (.dst) from the USB flash memory. NOTE: Certain “.dst” embroidery data may be misformed or tangled. In this case, you should edit it by using commercially available embroidery software.
