4. Installation
Prior to first use
Make sure the package contains all components and check their conditions.
Report any defects as soon as possible to maintain the product warranty.
Read the operation manual carefully and follow all instructions.
The control grip is equipped with a steel rope suspension loop. Hang the
control grip onto the steel rope or rope in the way to prevent a mechanical
cord stress. Do not lubricate the steel rope. Lubricate the pulley only.
Prior to installation
Use the supplied bolts and carrier stirrups to fix the hoist to the carrier
construction.
Use the water-level to check the hoist is installed in a horizontal position.
The carrier construction shall ensure a safety fixing for the carrier stirrups and
provide the movement or the offset of the hoist. The construction shall also be
able to withstand the static and dynamic actions occurring when manipulating
the tool.
The tool shall not be used in an explosive area.
Measure the height of the working area prior to the tool installation. The steel
rope shall cover the whole working area while not reaching its maximal
permissible unroll. Due to this, the rope is equipped with a red mark. The
drum shall contain three additional unrolls which shall not get unrolled in any
case! Use the 10A fuse or 10A protective switch to secure the tool against the
incorrect electric current levels. The engine is equipped with a thermal switch
so the engine may get stopped during the operation. It starts again
automatically after cooling down.
