Russian Federation No. 55 19/01/1998
• Electrical appliances and machines,
household gas equipment and other
technically sophisticates household goods
before supply to salesroom or to the
delivery point should undergo pre-sale
preparation which includes: Unpacking of
goods, clearing of manufacturing grease,
dust, and chips, visual inspection of
goods, package check, quality check,
availability of the necessary information
about the item and its manufacturer,
assembly and setup of the device if
necessary.
• Samples of the goods offered for sale
have to be placed in the salesroom, have
the issued labels with the indication of
the name, the brand, model, part
number, price and short summaries
supporting with key technical
characteristics.
• Upon the demand a buyer should be
informed about set-up and functioning of
goods, which have to be shown in
assembled, technically sound state.
Devices not demanding special
connections are shown in the operating
state.
• The person performing sales upon the
demand of the buyer checks quality of
goods, availability of its documentation,
and price accuracy in presence of the
buyer.
• With the handling of technically
sophisticated household appliances the
buyer is given sets of accessories and
documents established by the
manufacturer (technical data sheet or
other document replacing it with the
