Push the brush head onto the metal shaft. (Fig. 2)
Note: When the brush head is attached, it is normal that there is a small gap
between the brush head and the handle.
Charging the Sonicare

Put the plug of the charger in the wall socket.

Place the handle on the charger.
Note: To keep the batteries fully charged at all times, you may keep your
toothbrush on the charger when not in use. It takes approximately 30 hours
to fully charge the batteries. When the toothbrush is used in clinical studies,
the handle should be fully charged.
Using the Sonicare

Wet the bristles of the toothbrush and apply a small amount of
toothpaste (Fig. 3).

To avoid splattering, place the brush head in your mouth before
switching the toothbrush on.

Press the power on/off button to switch on the toothbrush

Brush like you normally would do. (Fig. 4)
Note: To achieve optimal results, thoroughly brush your entire mouth. Brush
the outside, the inside and chewing surfaces of your teeth, as well as your
gums.

Apply light pressure to maximise the toothbrush's effectiveness. Do
not press too hard.

The toothbrush will automatically turn off after two minutes.

You may also brush your tongue, with the toothbrush turned on or
off, as you prefer.
The toothbrush is safe to use on:

Braces (brush heads wear out sooner when used on braces)
