Disassembling and assembling the back wheel

A
WARNING
Place the motorcycle in vertical position and immobilise the front part.
To remove the back wheel:
- Remove the nut from axle
WARNING
Tap the end of the axle with a nylon mallet to ease removal.
- Pivot the chain snail cams
to the lowest position.
- Move the wheel forward.
- Remove the chain from the drive plate.
- Remove the wheel backward, pulling the rear
brake disc from the calliper.
To place the rear wheel:
- Place the wheel on the axle of the swingarm.
- Ensure that you place the calliper on the disc.
- Place the axle, as well as the chain snail cam.
- Place the chain on the drive plate.
- Place the right-hand tension snail cam.
- Gently bring the wheel axle nut close.
- Tense the chain ( p.90).
- Tighten the rear wheel axle.

If necessary, add more brake fluid and drain the
circuit.
WARNING
While inserting the wheel, avoid damaging the disc with the
brake pads.
Once everything is assembled, check proper brake operation
before using.
