How Long is the Warranty Period? The YANMAR standard limited warranty period begins on the date of the delivery of the new YANMAR YDG diesel generator to the first retail purchaser and extends for a period of twenty-four (24) months or two-thousand (2000) engine operation hours, whichever occurs first. -

BEFORE YOU YDG Operation Manual OPERATE INTRODUCTION This section of the Operation Manual describes activating a new battery, diesel fuel and engine oil specifications and how to replenish them. It also describes the proper way to connect the electrical loads to the generator and the daily engine checkout. -

• If the engine cranking speed is so slow that the engine does not start, recharge the battery. • If the engine still will not start after charging, have your authorized YANMAR industrial engine dealer or distributor check the battery and the engine’s starting system. -
