  • Page 6 Regole di installazione La barriera ed il riflettore devono essere installati su pareti piane e non soggette a deformazioni, spostamenti o vibrazioni. E’ importante inoltre, tener conto di alcune regole base: la distanza tra barriere (D) che deve essere compresa tra un 1/2 D minimo di 10 mt ed un massimo di 18 mt.
  • Page 7 Installazione Installare il riflettore nel punto prefissato mantenendolo in asse con la barriera. Per distanze comprese tra i 5 e 70 mt, utilizzare il solo pannello cataddrio- tico in dotazione per avere una superficie riflettente di 20 x 20 cm. Per distanze comprese tra i 70 e 100 mt, aggiungere il Kit BFS (N°3 pannelli cataddiotrici) al pannello in dotazione per ottenere una superficie riflettente di 40 x 40 cm.

  • Page 10 BR100 Per avere la visualizzazione del segnale in tempo reale, è possibile remotizzare il modulo display / led di ogni singola barriera alloggiandolo nel pannello remoto BR100. Ogni pannello remoto BR100, può ospitare un massimo di N°4 moduli display / led. RESET: esegue un ripristino dalla condizione di allarme.

  • Page 14 General Features ALLARME GUASTO Smoke detection system made of an emitter and a receiver, which thanks to a reflecting panel placed at max 100 meters distance, can detect and determine the quantity of smoke in the protected area. The board is equipped with a view-finder, placed on one side, allowing a rough alignement with the reflector given within.

  • Page 18 Installation Rules The beam and the reflector must be installed on plane wall, not subject to vibrations or deformation. Please keep in mind these basic rules: distance between the beams (D) must be between min 10 and 1/2 D max. 18 meters. distance from the walls must be about the half of the distance between...

  • Page 19: Installation

    Installation Install reflector maintaining it in axis with the beam. For distance between 5 and 70 meters use only the reflecting panel you find within the beam in order to have a reflecting surface of 20 x 20 cm. For distance between 70 and 100 meters, add Kit BFS (3 reflecting panels) to the panel given within the beam in order to obtain a reflecting panel of 40 x 40 cm.
  • Page 20 Working mode “Calibration” In order to make a first rough alignement, use optical view-finder, visualizing the centre of the concerned reflector in the centre of the framed area. In order to move orientation towards right, rotate the horizontal adjuster clockwise, in order to move orientation towards left, rotate the horizontal REFLECTOR adjuster counter-clockwise.
  • Page 21 Considering that the longer is the protected range, the longer is the beam concerned by smoke, it would be better to set the sensitivity level according to distance between beam and reflector, following indications shown in the chart below. Once calibration is made, take off the adjusting mirror BF TEST before closing with cover.
  • Page 22 BR100 In order to obtain signal visualizatioin in real time, it is possible to remote the display/led module of any single beam, locating it in remote panel BR100. Any BR100 remote panel can locate up to 4 display/Led modules. RESET: it makes a reset of alarm condition.
  • Page 23 Connections to Control Units BF100R beam is equipped with: OUT + F for direct connection to AVS conventional fire control units (charge of 680 ohm during alarm). ALLARME GUASTO In order to reset the beam from alarm condition, simply make a reset operation on control unit (Jumper S9 closed).
