  • Page 17: About Time Correction

About time correction The distance between the listener and the speakers in the vehicle can vary greatly due to the complicated speaker placement. This variation of distance between the listener and the speakers may result in the variation in acoustic image and frequency.
  • Page 18 Example 2: all seats Adjust the time correction levels of all speakers to nearly the same. 1 Seat at the listener location (driver seat etc.) and measure the distance between the head and each speaker (meters). 2 Calculate the difference of distance correction value between the farthest speaker and other speakers. L=(distance from the farthest speakers)–(distance from other speaker) These values are the time correction values of different speakers.
