SAFETY INFORMATION GENERAL Read this instruction manual carefully and keep it in a safe place for future reference. The correct use and maintenance of this product is essential. MAINTENANCE Regularly check that the gate is functioning correctly, lubricate hinges and moving components. -

WARNING • To prevent serious injury or death, securely install gate or enclosure and use according to manufacturer instructions. • Incorrect installation can be dangerous. • Danger to older children if climbing over the product. • Discontinue the use of the safety barrier if it becomes damaged, broken or disassembled. - Page 5 WARNING • Always check that the safety barrier is correctly closed. • Use only with the locking / latching mechanism securely engaged. • Gate must be installed as close to the ground as possible, as per the installation guides. • Never use with a child able to climb over or dislodge / open the gate or enclosure.

SAFETY INFORMATION MOUNTINGS Gate must be installed in a structurally sound opening. Ensure mounting surface (wall, door, stair posts, etc.) is strong, rigid and has an even surface. Page 11: With Skirting Or Baseboard
INSTALLATION Skirting or Baseboard To help correct for the offset of the skirting board or baseboard, Spacers will be required. Measure the width of your skirting / baseboard and use the closest number of Spacers to fit this width. Each Spacer is 5mm (3/16”) thick. NOTE: Only use spacers for the Upper Gate Mount and the Upper Catch Mount. -

INSTALLATION Step 1. Inside Opening or Doorway Hold guides vertically and completely outstretched against mounting surface with the end marked “FLOOR” even with the floor. Mark screw hole positions. Remove templates. Leave at least 20mm (3/4”) between Guide and the edge of NOTE: the opening to ensure gate won’t overhang edge. - Page 13 INSTALLATION Step 2. Step 3. Align the Upper & Lower Gate Align the Catch Mounts in their Mount on the side you want the correct position on the side you gate to extend from. Tighten want the gate to extend. Screws until each Mount is Tighten Screws until each secure.

INSTALLATION Step 3. Outside Opening or Doorway Follow Steps 1 & 2 from “Installation Inside Doorway or Opening” on pages 12 & 13. Align each Mount in their correct position. Tighten Screws until each Mount is secure. NOTE: These holes must be used to mount outside an opening or doorway. -

INSTALLATION To Attach Attach Gate Assembly to the SLIDE Gate Mounts by aligning the gate directly above and sliding straight down over Mounts. The gate will lock in place with a “Click”. Check that the Assembly is flush against the wall and is locked firmly in place. -

OPERATION HOW TO OPEN 1. Push To unlock the mechanism simply push down. 2. Twist + Release While still pushing down, turn the button clockwise. Then release. 3. Pull Pull handle in one fluid movement as stopping will engage lock. Hook onto Catch Mounts to secure. -

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS Simply use a soft damp cloth to wipe gate, dry after cleaning. Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaners. -
