Test item
Press switches one at a time in the order as in Table 2 (p.48). The sine wave sounds at the
scale corresponding to each switch being pressed (Refer to Table 2 on p.48.). Also, when
there is an LED corresponding to that switch, the LED lights up while the switch is pressed.
Check that all switches are pressed correctly, resulting in OK.
Pressing a switch other than specified ones results in NG.
When the pressed switch is not detected even though it is actually pressed, no sound is
produced and the test results in NG.
For the OK test result, the C4 sine wave sounds (for 1 second).
For the NG test result, the C2 sine wave sounds (continuously until any key is pressed).
Check that all LEDs light up.
When the test item is ended with the [DEMO/SONG] button, the all LEDs will turn off.
Check that all red LEDs light up.
When the test item is ended with the [DEMO/SONG] button, the all red LEDs will turn off.
Check that all green LEDs light up.
When the test item is ended with the [DEMO/SONG] button, the all green LEDs will turn off.
Move the master volume from the minimum position to the maximum position and check
that the volume can be moved smoothly without producing abnormal sounds.
For the OK test result, the C4 sine wave sounds (for 1 second).
For the NG test result, no sound is produced.
Connect the pedal unit to the [PEDAL UNIT] jack.
The C3 sine wave sounds when the test is started and the C4 sine wave sounds when the
pedal is depressed.
When the pedal is released, the sounding of the C4 sine wave stops and the test result is OK.
For the NG test result, the C4 sine wave sounds (continuously until any key is pressed).
The C3 sine wave sounds when the test is started and the C4 sine wave sounds when the
pedal is depressed.
When the pedal is released, the sounding of the C4 sine wave stops and the test result is OK.
For the NG test result, the C4 sine wave sounds (continuously until any key is pressed).
Connect the pedal unit to the [PEDAL UNIT] jack.
The C3 sine wave sounds when the test is started. The G4 sine wave sounds when the pedal
is depressed from the OFF position to the half position, and the C4 sine wave sounds when
the pedal is depressed from the half position to the ON position. When the pedal is released,
the sounding of the C4 sine wave stops and the test result is OK.
For the NG test result, the C4 sine wave sounds (continuously until any key is pressed).
* Before starting the test program, the pedal unit must be connected to the [SUSTAIN] jack.
The C3 sine wave sounds when the test is started and the C4 sine wave sounds when the
pedal is depressed.
When the pedal is released, the sound of the C4 sine wave stops and the test result is OK.
For the NG test result, the sine wave sounds (continuously until any key is pressed).
* Before using here, the personal computer must has been installed the USB-MIDI driver and
finished the through-setting
Connect the [USB] jack of personal computer to the [TO HOST] jack of this unit with an
USB cable, then execute the test.
For the OK test result, the C4 sine wave sounds (for 1 second).
For the NG test result, the C4 sine wave sounds (continuously until any key is pressed).
To check the ROM checksum connected to the CPU bus (Full address)
For the OK test result, the C4 sine wave sounds (for 1 second).
For the NG test result, the C2 sine wave sounds (continuously until any key is pressed).
It takes 12 seconds before checking is completed.
To check the RAM verification connected to the CPU bus (Full address)
For the OK test result, the C4 sine wave sounds (for 1 second).
For the NG test result, the C2 sine wave sounds (continuously until any key is pressed).
It takes 2 seconds before checking is completed.
As execution of this test causes the entire data on RAM to be rewritten, it is necessary to
execute initialization after this test.
