Observing the orientation, replace with a Cherry
switch – Access Part Number SWMX1A11DN.
Locate the legs through the circuit board holes and
gently push to ensure the switch locates into the
chassis plate.
7.2.5 Keyboard Matrix Test
If changes are made to the keyboard matrix and/or keys switches then these can be tested
prior to final installation. This test can be done off-line and uses our simple utility called
Test US Keyboard.exe i.e.

Before clicking on the icon ensure that you have a USB mouse plugged in as this test

proceed onto the KeyTest phase. If No there is a problem with the LED or a short-circuit
to the keyboard that needs further investigating.
