Corrective Action
Clean or replace the air cleaner element.
Replace or regap the spark plugs.
Replenish fuel.
Check and tighten connections.
Check the controller LED. Correct the
fault and reset controller. Test shutdown
operation.
Test switches and replace if necessary.
Check and tighten connections.
Clean or replace the air cleaner element.
Inspect and clean the cooling system.
Reduce the load on the generator set.
Replace or regap the spark plugs.
Check the valves and fuel pressure.
Check the governor and throttle linkage.
Check for the correct fuel and fuel block
connection.
Check that the load does not exceed the
rating, 3.5 or 5 kW.
Check that the throttle linkage is free to
move and open while engine is running.
Check that the voltage with no load
matches the rating shown in Section 1.3,
Specifications.
Run the unit 5--10 minutes under load.
Clean the intake and outlet openings.
Clean or replace the air cleaner element.
Verify that the load is within the specified
range. Reduce load.
