Using your DVD Player
Let's get started
To set the viewing rating:
1.
Follow the steps above and ensure that the
PASSWORD screen is displaying the unlock symbol
. If the lock symbol is shown, enter the default
password of 0000 or the new password you have
set.

Scroll down and highlight RATING Use the
arrow to move to the Rating options, then use the
Up and
Down buttons to highlight your
chosen rating. Press the

Scroll up and highlight PASSWORD and then press
OK. Enter the default password of 0000 or the
new password you have set.

The lock symbol will change to be locked
your viewing rating is now password protected.
Setup - Default
If you highlight this option and then move to RESTORE

and then press the
button. The DVD Player will be
reset to its factory default settings.
Setup - Video
If you are using the SCART or RCA cable (L, R and CVBS
(Composite Video) connections), you will need to set
the video output mode.
Select:
• RGB when connecting with a SCART cable
• CVBS when connecting using the RCA L, R and
CVBS (composite video) cable.
Note: Do not connect multiple cables at the same
time as this will cause picture quality loss.
Setup – HDMI Resolution
When using a HDMI cable to connect to a TV, you can
select the resolution to match to the connected TV.
The following options are available:
• 480I/576I (standard progressive DVD resolution)
• 720P (1280x720 progressive HD resolution)
• 1080I (1920x1080 interlaced HD resolution)
• 1080P (1920x1080 progressive HD resolution)

Setup - Downmix
You can change the way that the audio is assigned to
each speaker. There are two options available:
• LT/RT - the rear Left/Right channels on a Dolby
5.1 DVD disc will play on both the Left and Right
speakers.
• STEREO - the rear left channel will play on the Left
Speaker and the rear right channel will play on the
Right speaker.
Note: The function depends on the Audio recording
of each disc.
Setup – Dual Mono
You can change the assignment of audio channels to
each speaker. The following options are available:
• STEREO: The left and right channels will be played
respectively on the left and right speakers.
• MONO L: The left channel will be played on all
speakers.
• MONO R: The right channel will be played on all
speakers.
• MIX-MONO: Mixed right and left channels will be
played on all speakers.
