ATTENTION!
•
Do not use the unit near containers filled with
water (such as bath, swimming pool etc.).
•
When using the hair dryer in a bathroom, dis-
connect it immediately after usage, pull the
power cord plug out of the mains socket, as
when water is near it is dangerous even if the
unit switch is off.
• For additional protection you can install a
residual current device with nominal opera-
tion current not exceeding 30 mA into the
mains of the bathroom; contact specialist for
installation.

SAFETY MEASURES

Before using the hair dryer, read the
instruction manual carefully. Keep this
instruction during the whole operation
period.
In order to avoid risk of electric shock:
•
Before using, make sure that your home
mains voltage corresponds to the voltage
specified on unit body.
• Use the unit for intended purposes only, use
only attachments supplied with the unit.
•
Do not leave the operating unit unattended.
•
Do not switch the unit on in places where
aerosols or highly inflammable liquids are
used.
•
Always unplug the unit immediately after
usage and before cleaning.
• When unplugging the unit, pull the plug but
not cord.
•
Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
•
Do not place and do not keep the unit in plac-
es, where it can fall into a bath or a sink, filled
with water, do not immerse the unit into water
or other liquids.

• Do not use the unit while bathing.
• When using the hair dryer in a bathroom,
unplug the unit immediately after usage that
is: take the plug out of the socket, as water
closeness is dangerous even if the unit is
switched off.
•
If the unit was dropped, unplug it immediate-
ly. And only then you can take it out of water.
•
For children safety do not leave polyethylene
bags, used as a packaging, unattended.
• Attention! Do not allow children to play with
polyethylene bags or film. Danger of suf-
focation!
•
Do not allow children use the unit as a toy.
Close supervision is necessary in case there
are children or disabled persons near the
operating unit.
• This unit is not intended for usage by children
or disabled persons unless they are given all
the necessary instructions by a person who
is responsible for their safety on safety mea-
sures and information about danger that can
be caused by improper usage of the unit.
•
Do not use the unit when you are drowsy.
•
Take the switched on unit by its handle only.
• Do not use the unit to style wet hair or syn-
thetic wigs.
• Do not direct hot air into your eyes or other
heat-sensitive parts of your body.
•
Avoid contact of heated surfaces with your
face, neck and other parts of your body.
•
The nozzle gets hot strongly during operation
of the unit. Allow it to cool before removal.
•
Never drop the unit or insert any object into
any openings of its body.
• Never block the air inlets of the hair dryer,
do not place it on a soft surface, such as a
bed or couch, where the air inlets may be
blocked. Keep the air inlets free of lint, dust
and hair etc.
•
Avoid getting of hair into the air inlet grid dur-
ing operation of the unit.
• It is recommended to unwind the power cord
to its full length while using the unit.
• The power cord should not:
touch hot objects,
–
run over sharp edges,
–
be used as a handle for carrying the unit.
–
•
Make sure regularly that the power cord and
the plug are not damaged.
