Switch your recorder on and your TV to
AV
monitor mode.
Insert a cassette.

... close the menu.

Switch to playback mode.
Still picture, to switch to the next
pictures press repeatedly or keep button
depressed.
pause, pressing once more: stop.
During playback you can skip two minutes e.g.
commercials, by pressing play button .
Afterwards you can press it again to skip further
and when necessary also to switch to playback
while in skip mode.
Disturbances can be removed. Optimize tracking
in play back mode with
in VTR menu
«PLAY FUNCTIONS» at «MANUAL TRACKING».
Store with OK button. The new setting is kept
until you eject the cassette.
When the still picture is trembling, adjust in VTR
menu «PLAY FUNCTIONS» at «PICTURE
STABILITY» with
buttons and store with
OK button.
Longplay recordings are automatically played
back in longplay mode. They are distorted in still
picture, slow motion and picture search mode.
Once the end of the cassette is reached, it will
be rewound automatically.
Pause, still image and slow motion are stopped
automatically after 5 minutes to protect the
cassette and the video heads.

With wind buttons you can select
forward or backward between three
speeds, display: «SLOW –14/–10/–7 /
STILL / SLOW +14/+10/+7»

Picture search
Switch to play mode
Search forward or backward for locating
certain scenes.
Back to playback
Pressing wind buttons repeatedly selects
between: «REVERSE / SCAN -3 / -11» and
«PLAY / SCAN +2 / +11».
Fast forward / rewind
Select stop mode (pause)
Switch on rewind
Switch on fast forward
Stop the winding
During fast forward/rewind you can press the
wind button again. Keep it pressed to switch to
slow fast forward or rewind. Release the button
to continue fast forward/rewinding.
