The USB-0401 easily does the job, all through your USB port. The USB-0401 is USB 2.0 and 3.0 compliant. Hardware installation 1. Connect the Gigabit adapters USB end to a free USB port of your computer. Then a Network pop-up message will appear in the notification area indicating the installation is complete. * Actual strings depend on your operation system. Uninstalling the Driver Uninstalling the Driver on Windows Ò Operating Systems Please take these steps to uninstall Driver: Open the Control Panel, Programs and Features and double-click Uninstall a Program on Windows 7 or Add or Remove Programs on XP. On Mac OS X Operating Systems Insert the provided driver CD into your CD-ROM drive. Double-click the CD and navigate to the directory of \Driver\Mac\V2.13.0\ Click the “AX88179_178A.dmg”, the AX88179 virtual disk will be appeared on the Desktop of your Mac OS system. (This “AX88179” virtual disk will be auto-removed after rebooting macOS system.)
