DESCRIPTION OF PERFORMANCE The CDM 23 WP is impressive for daily use in channel construction sites as a functional, robust, compact core drill motor. The careful design of the safety clip secures the core drill in the harsh construction site environment as well as acting as a functional handle for daily transport and simple mounting on drilling motors.
1.1.4 The LISSMAC core drill motor CDM 23 WP is a wet core drill motor and belongs to the device class for stand-guided core drill equipment. The core drill motor is driven via a petrol motor and is used in combination with water for drilling round holes in stone, lightly reinforced concrete and composite materials.
1.2.4 At least occasionally, perform checks for safe and hazard awareness work by operators while following the operating manual! 1.2.5 Use personal protection equipment if necessary or required by regulations! 1.2.6 Observe all safety instructions and danger warnings of the machine and keep them in legible condition! Replace safety and danger instructions, that are damaged or non-readable any more.
1.4. Safety instructions for operation phases 1.4.1. Transport, assembly and installation 1.4.1.1 Transport, assembly and installation on/with the core drill motor may only be carried out when the petrol motor is turned off. 1.4.1.2 Transport, assembly and installation on/with the core drill motor may only be carried out with removed tool and when the petrol motor is turned off.
1.4.3. Operation 1.4.3.1 Refrain from working in any manner that is questionable in regard to safety! 1.4.3.2 Take measures to ensure that the core drilling motor is operated only in a safe, functional condition! 1.4.3.3 The core drill motor must be checked at least once per shift for externally identifiable defects or damages! Any changes which occur (including operating behavior) must be reported immediately to the responsible post/person! If necessary, immediately stop the machine and secure it against restart!
1.4.5. Moving the core drill motor 1.4.4.1 Moving the core drill motor must only be done when the petrol motor is turned off. 1.4.4.2 Before leaving the operating position, the petrol motor must be shut down and the tool must no longer rotate.
1.6. Transport 1.6.1 The core drill motor must be removed from the core drill stand for transport. 1.6.2 Even for a small distance, the core drill motor must be switched off. The tool may not be rotating before a restart! 1.6.3 When recommissioning, follow the operating manual! 1.7.

COMMISSIONING 3.1. Connections and operating materials Fuel The core drill motor must be filled with fuel. Specifications and quality requirements are given in the operating manual and must be followed. Gear oil Moving parts in the drive must be lubricated with gear oil. The drive is maintenance free.
3.3. Filling the fuel tank Danger! When filling, the petrol motor consists of highly flammable fuel fumes. Smoking is absolutely forbidden during this process. All flammable sources must be removed. Caution! When refilling the fuel tank, there is a danger of burning due to hot motor parts. Note Fuel storage may only be in authorized containers.
3.4. Insertion into a core drill stand Danger! The core drill motor must be clamped into a core drill stand intended for this purpose to be considered proper use. Hang the core drill motor into the upper fixture (pos. 1) of the core drill stand ...
3.5. Tools Danger! The use of improper or un-certified tools is lethal! Avoid any contact with the running tool. Note Defective tools such as: non-concentrically running tools missing or damaged tool segments distorted tools blunt tools May not be used with the core drill motor.
3.6. Change the gear ranges Caution! Changing the gear level is only possible when the core drill motor is switched off and the tool is at a standstill. Never use tools (tongs, hammer, etc.) to change the gear level. Switch off petrol motor and wait for the tool to stop. ...
OPERATION 4.1. Safety Danger! The core drill motor may only be used together with a core drill stand intended for this purpose. The core drill stand must be well connected to the floor. Danger! Fumes from the petrol motor must be extracted away from the operating position by an exhaust hose.
