DECALING (Periodical)
To ensure good appliance efficiency it is recommendable to
periodically decaled the heating element. The frequency of this
operation depends on the water hardness; proceed as follows:
• Switch off the power to the appliance.
• Empty the tank.
• Remove the electrical protection cover by undoing the fixing
screws.
• Disconnect the electrical wires from the respective terminals
and remove the thermostat.
Remove the thermostat from its housing.
• Remove the heating element with a suitable hexagon
spanner.
• Remove any scale and clean, taking care not to damage the
heating element armour.
When refitting, make sure:
• The heating element is correctly housed and that the seals
are correctly fitted.
• The thermostat is inserted in the housing of the heating
element, pushing all the way in but without any striking that
can damage it; make sure internal male/female contacts are
correctly inserted.
• Before reconnecting the power, fill the appliance (see the
relevant section) and check for any water leaks.
IMPORTANT: Repair and / or maintenance operations must
be carried only using original spare parts and by qualified
personal. Before
disconnect the appliance from the power mains.
Non-professionals are not allowed to disassemble the
thermal switch to reset. Please contact prefessionals to
maintain. Otherwise our company will not take responsiblity
