in the "OUT" or middle port on the filter head
5).
Note: Torque both of the fittings (the fitting in the
OUT port and the fitting in the IN port) to 36.6 to
44.7 N∙m (27 to 33 ft-lb), in case the IN fitting became
loose during the disassembly of the hard line.
11. Loosely install the lower hard line that is connected to
the hydrostat into the check fitting back in the middle
port of the filter head
12. Install and secure the hex-head screws to assemble the
filter head to the frame bracket
13. Torque the lower hard line to 36.6 to 44.7 N∙m (27 to
33 ft-lb), use a backing wrench to maintain the torque
of the existing fitting.
14. Install the top hard line and position it so that the hard
lines are not touching each another. Torque the hard
line to the fitting to 36.6 to 44.7 N∙m (27 to 33 ft-lb),
using a backing wrench

Note: Remove the oil-absorbent pads and wipe the
area for any residual oil.
15. Check the level of the hydraulic fluid, and add fluid if
necessary; refer to the machine Operator's Manual.
16. Test machine function as follows:
A. Verify that the machine returns to neutral
reliably and repeatedly. The machine must stop
immediately when you release the traction control
lever.
B. Verify that the machine does not creep. If the
machine creeps, adjust the traction adjustment
cam to a repeatable neutral; refer to the machine
Operator's Manual.
C. As described in the machine Operator's Manual,
perform the 2-inch spacing speed test; place the
unit in the 2-inch spacing position. The machine
should run a distance of 15.24 m (50 ft) in 34
seconds with the engine running at 3,400 rpm.
Adjust the stop bolt as indicated per the process
described in the machine Operator's Manual.
D. Check the level of the hydraulic fluid and add the
appropriate hydraulic fluid if necessary; refer to
the machine Operator's Manual.
