You can use your TiVo box to enable MoCA throughout your entire home, or you can
connect any TiVo box to an existing MoCA network.
CREATING A MOCA NETWORK USING YOUR TIVO BOX
1. Connect a coax cable coming from the wall to the coax port on the TiVo box.
IMPORTANT: If you are using a TiVo BOLT/BOLT+ with MoCA and you have an
antenna connected to your home's coax network, you MUST also install a 70 dB POE
filter.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable from your home network (wall outlet or router) to the
Ethernet port on the TiVo box.
Note: If you don't have easy access to an Ethernet cable, you can also create a MoCA
network using the TiVo Bridge accessory. See
3. If you are setting up your TiVo box for the first time, during Guided Setup choose
Ethernet as your network connection type.
4. After completing Guided Setup, or if you're changing your TiVo box's connection
method to create a MoCA network, go to Settings > Network Settings > Change
Network Settings.
5. Choose MoCA.
6. When prompted, select Set Up as Bridge.
7. Congratulations! You've just created a MoCA network, and your TiVo box is connected
to it. To connect other TiVo boxes to your network, see
