Use the System Settings menu to perform a simple device Restart or Shutdown.
This is also where the DNS-313 can be reset to factory default settings. In addition,
you can save and load saved configuration files.
Factory Reset
Click the Restore button under Defaults to restore the network storage drive to the
default settings. The DNS-313 will be reset to the factory default settings and restart.
It will take about 2 minutes. When it restarts, use the default User Name admin with
no password to log back in. The IP settings might change depending on how the IP
settings were previously configured. Upon restarting, the DNS-313 is a DHCP client;
so therefore it might be necessary to use the Easy Search Utility to establish contact.
If you are unable to log in using the same IP address, use the Easy Search Utility to
find the device and connect to it. Restoring factory default settings will not change
any data on the hard disk.

DNS-313, click on the Save button under Configuration Settings and choose a
location on your computer to store the file. This file can later be loaded from your
computer to use the same configuration settings.
