6. Battery replacement
To change the battery, the two screws on the battery housing must be loosened
using a suitable screwdriver. Then remove the cover of the battery housing and take
out the used battery.
After inserting a new battery (use type-tested batteries only, see table under point
5; pay attention to the polarity! See picture on battery housing), refit the cover of the
battery housing (spring pressing on the battery) and secure with the two screws.
The clock will then start working again. The time can be set or corrected with the
white dial on the movement housing. Dispose of depleted batteries in an appropriate
and environmentally friendly manner!
