Potential Cause
Transceiver can't lock to carrier
frequency.
Generic Transceiver Fault – POST,
transmit, address, broadcast, or nominal
rate failure.
Transceiver power too low.
Transceiver power supply voltage too
high.
Transceiver power supply voltage too
low.
Transceiver modulation fault.
FDL-978 ADS-B equipment internal
temperature too high.
The unit is not receiving digital serial
communication from the GPS.
GPS has reported unavailable position or
a fault.
Top antenna disconnected.
Bottom antenna disconnected.
Internal DC Power Supply failure.
ADC or Altitude encoder fault or not
responding.
