    1 Introduction Dear Customer Congratulations, you have chosen a pump from arcomed ag. For optimum performance and safety, please read these instructions carefully before using the equipment. The pump must be taken in operation only after reading this user manual.

    Using infusion sets or connecting accessories that have not been tested and released by arcomed ag for the use with this pump can harm patients, users and other people and therefore is not allowed.
  • Page 7 If the pump shall be operated at very low rates, arcomed ag recommends the use of the Syramed® µSP6000 Chroma syringe pump. Warning: The Volumed® µVP7000 Chroma must not be used for patients, which are generally contra indicated to intravenous application of medicine.

Contact your arcomed distributor for an adjustment according to your requirements. 3.3.8 TCI Modus - general information The TCI mode is designed to deliver analgesic drugs during anaesthesia. Running in TCI mode the pump permanently recalculates the necessary infusion rate to meet the target concentration (plasma or effect site) as precisely as possible.

    ON/OFF key shortly again the pump will turn back on with all earlier programmed parameters. NOTE: This function is by default disabled. To enable it get in contact with your arcomed distributor. If the pump is connected to mains the battery is charged and the battery condition is displayed on the LCD.
