Structural & Mounting Components should be kept dry, clean, lubricated (only if recommended), coated properly, and otherwise maintained in a manner consistent with part design. BARCO products must be used in a manner consistent with their design and inspected on a routine basis for security, wear, deformation, corrosion and any other circumstances that may affect the load handling capability of the part.
1. Safety 1.2 Important Safety Instructions Instructions: • Read these instructions. • Keep these instructions. • Heed all warnings. • Follow all instructions. • IMPORTANT, all plug holder clamps of the AEC must be locked firmly to prevent the possible ingress of fluids or solid particles. Replace damaged clamps or seals immediately.
1. Safety 1.3 Important Warnings Important Warnings: • Risk of electric shock: Image 1-5 Risk of electrical shock Risk of electric shock. Do not open. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove cover (or back). No user-serviceable parts inside.
The mechanical flexibility enables easy installation and quick servicing. The AEC Satellite, which contains one sensor in a separated small housing, allows even more flexibility. AEC modules are only to be used in conjunction with BARCO DLite or ILite Modules.

Physical Installation Example of power and data cabling Image 3-9 Data and power cabling of a H7 x V5 DLite display with AEC. 3.4 Addressing, Calibrating and Sensing XLite Toolset Addressing, calibrating and sensing are done with the XLite Toolset Software (R9850042). Instructions for addressing, calibrating and sensing are explained in the user guide of the XLite Toolset software (R5976380).
4. Maintenance 4. MAINTENANCE 4.1 Cleaning the AEC sensors The AEC sensors should be cleaned on regular basis for good functionality of the AEC. How to clean the AEC sensors ? 1. Remove all dirt from the AEC sensors with a damp cloth. R5976153 AEC 04112002...
