- Page 2 HOW TO OPERATE 1. On first use, please put light’s panel in direct sunlight to activate its battery and fully charge at least 8 hours for optimum performance. Press the button for mode-setting: Press once for low light mode; Press twice for high light mode; Press three times to turn off. Please make sure to turn on the switch before use, otherwise the product will not automatically light up at dusk. This product must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with instructions provided and in compliance with recognised electrical and safety regulations relevant to the country it is being installed. This product may NOT be installed by minors or people with a mental disability. Please keep the surface of the solar panel clean, to make sure the product works at it’s best performance. It is important to install the light in a location that receive full sunlight each day, away from the shade caused by trees, buildings etc. Shady locations will not allow the battery to be fully charged and will reduce the hours of night time light. The performance of the solar light is dependent on the geographical location, weather conditions and seasonal sunlight availability. On cloudy days and during winter, the solar light will not receive as much direct sunlight, resulting in reduced brightness and reduced operating time. Dispose the used battery properly! Connect the extension rod or ground stake with the light to adjust the solar spotlight height, and then adjust the angle through either loosening or tightening the knob screws in order to get enough sunshine during the day. Insert the entire light into the ground vertically WALL MOUNTED 1. Drill three holes into the wall and insert the attached pillar hinge for a tight seal. Adjust the knob screws in order to ensure the perfect angle for the light.
- Page 4 THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND 1. As a solar powered product, the working time is ENIRELY weather sensitive. Other factors include: illumination intensity, geographical location and sunshine duration, etc. It should be installed outdoors and completely free from any obstructions such as buildings, trees, fences, bushes and anything creating shadows. On a cloudy day or in the winter, the charging time may be longer and the working time may be shorter due to the intensity of the sun. This is quite normal and should not be considered as a problem. This product is light sensitive and only lights up in dark places. Do not install near any light source otherwise it won’t light up. If you’d like to turn on the light during daytime, please fully cover the solar panel and make sure there is no light source of sunshine detected. Do not adjust the angles of light or the panel by force. Please unscrew the screws before doing so. Keep the light away from fire and avoid immersing the product in water to avoid explosions or leakages. MAINTENANCE AND BATTERY REPLACEMENT 1. Keep the solar panel clean to ensure the best solar charging. 2. If the product does not light up after being used for 12-18 months, please replace the rechargeable battery as it may be weak or worn out. (Battery: 1pcs, 18650 3.7V 2200mAh) Pay attention to the polarity when loading the battery. Please noted that the solar panel should be illuminated under strong light for 10 seconds to activate the light after reinstall the battery, otherwise the product will not turn on successfully. Please exercise caution when replacing the battery. Open the battery holder to replace the old battery with a fresh one. The old battery must be treated with care by contacting your local recycling center of environment protection department to find out how to properly get rid of it.
